Hi! My name is Nicole Purington and I founded Purington Photography. I earned my Bachelors in Studio Art from Marietta College in 2015 and went on to launch this business shortly after. I'm not much like your typical photographer. If you love to laugh, joke, and be treated like I've known you for years, you've come to the right lady! If you want someone to pose you like a robot, connect poorly, and treat you like just another face in the crowd, we definitely won't get along! I love to smile, laugh, and always acknowledge my awkwardness. I live to capture pure moments with genuine feeling.
One big thing you should know about me is that I do things a little differently. I am actually legally blind. Before you get all freaked out, yes, I can see... just only so much. I have two conditions called congenital nystagmus and extreme myopia. They prohibit me from doing a lot of things, but definitely not from seeing the beauty in life. I just see things differently, and have to get a little closer to really make things out. I have adapted over many years to my surroundings, and have my own way of doing things. It's a little ironic, I know, being a legally blind artist. Don't worry though, I'll still make you look phenomenal!
